How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Sequist Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Bond and her staff are wonderful! They are kind, caring and listen to any concerns you have about your pet. Dr. Bond always gets down to the level of your pet on the floor and does everything she can to make them feel comfortable. Cooper especially appreciates all the attention and shows her by giving her lots of kisses. We recently lost our other dog to an unexpected medical issue and she took the time to talk to me about what could have happened to him. She is one of the best vets that I’ve been to! Thank you for caring so much about our pets!

I’ve trusted Sequist Animal Hospital to take care of my fur baby for 8 years and they’ve been wonderful. She actually loves going to the vet! They’ve always been available, willing to answer my questions, and devoted to her long-term health. Even after I moved 45 minutes farther away I still bring her there because I trust them with her healthcare and she is my better half.

Emily is the best! She is very kind and patient with the animals, ensures understanding if treatments are needed, and is very accessible. The techs and front office are amazing as well!

I adopted a 12 week old puppy from South Carolina who unexpectedly arrived with giardia, coccidia, ringworm and a uti. With help from Dr Bond and her amazing team (Josie and Em are great, you can really tell how much they care) we were able to diagnose and treat him conservatively in order to not overwhelm his system. It took a couple months of hard work and being able to reach out via text during that time to have a question answered or give an update on his condition really made my job a lot easier and allowed me to stay on top of his recovery. I really feel the entire team at Sequist was there to help us. Odin is now a happy and healthy little man and loves to go back to see everyone!

After using Sequest for more than 30 years I called with an emergency and they refused to look at my dog. I was told the doctors leave at 5 and they do not handle emergencies. It was approximately 4:15. David Sequist would be disappointed that his name lives on but his dedication to the animals doesn't.
