How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Milton Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Love the team at MVH! They are always responsive and helpful, even over the phone sometimes. My girl has always responded well to each provider and they're always so kind and caring with her.

I’ve been using Milton Vet for my animals for over 30 years and they have always been exceptional. We put our beloved dog down with them yesterday and they made a painful process safe and comfortable for our pet. I can’t say enough good things about them. I travel 30 mins out of my way to use them. They also never breed discriminated against my pit bull and treated him with respect. I used another Vet once with same dog and they immediately muzzled him so I appreciate Milton loving him up like any other pet. 💕 I highly recommend

The Milton team is great to deal with and loves pets .. when you can get an appointment. If your calling form something like a sprained leg and just need some NSAIDS. it will be about 3-5 days before you can get it, or tell you to go to PEAK/BEVS and pay 3-5x the price to get them. They need to find ways to get common recurring problems prescribed easier, especially if it is just comfort medicine for a few days to get to the appointment.

The vets here are so great! They treat us with respect and care. They check in when a pet is sick and offer help over the phone if they can. So happy to bring my pets here!

They take such great care of my pets. I am happily driving past local Vets with flashy new spaces to get the better quality of care in Milton.
