How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Cancer Care and Research Center
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My aunt and I take her 13 yr old Rottweiler for cancer tests and treatments. Brittany always greets us with a smile. The student nurses are awesome, and the Dr's always keep us informed. ❤️

The best there is. Dr Tuohy worked so hard to get our St. Bernard into the clinical trial just days after his diagnosis. My wife and I are still grateful for the experience of driving to Virginia for our dog with Osteosarcoma. Our boy has outlived the expectations so far, and moreover, has had an incredible quality of life.

We cannot say enough good things about the care given to our Wilson. His doctor, her assistant, the other doctors and all of the techs and staff-- the best! Thank you to them all!

I cannot even begin to express the compassion and care my family has received from everyone. From the first call I was treated like my concern was important. I was able to get a quick appointment and treatment started. I felt like Captain was loved from the beginning and no call I ever made was a bother and I called many times. My questions were answered professionally and delicately in a way I could understand. When my beloved pet’s condition progressed the staff went above and beyond to love and care for not only him but us as well. I could never thank them enough. A reminder to some. This is your pet’s last hope and they do not treat you like it is. So please be kind to the staff. They come to love your pet almost as much as you.

The best doctors and kindest staff. Because of them, we have been given more precious time, and my second daughter has been able to meet my first daughter.
