Dr. Montague is by far the best veterinarian for my fur babies! I have been going to Caroline Animal Hospital for well over a decade and after moving to the Richmond area I attempted to use another veterinarian, with a disastrous outcome for one of my pets. Regardless, of the two hour drive, to and from, it’s worth it to ensure my pets get the best care possible. Dr. Montague provides excellent medical care and advice, but she’s also honest, down to earth and knows how to relate to pet parents. To add to this pleasant experience the staff at this facility are always extremely caring and pleasant, with Lisa being my favorite 😉! Thank you so much for providing excellent service to my beloved babies!!!

My furbaby had an emergency. My current (now previous) vet turned us away because they didn't have any appointments. Caroline Animal Hospital fit us in quickly even though they were busy and booked for the day. Thank you for taking care of my baby!

I've been going here for probably 25 years or longer. The original vet there retired and ever since the service here is terrible. I am in the process of moving to Florida and lost the script for flea meds and was told they can not resend that to me. After all the years and all of the money I have given them. Very disappointing and a little relieved to be moving!

I first came upon this vet when we first moved to BG a little over a year ago. My dog came down with kidney disease quickly, and we had to put him down. Gunner was my husband and I's world. They were kind, patient, loving and thoughtful during the whole process. Now I have a 3 month old puppy that they have taken the best care of, and even gives her presents. ❣️ I am very cautious, picky, and particular about the vet I use... I'm willing to travel hours for good care for my babies. I'm so thankful for the wonderful staff of Caroline Animal Hospital, so close to home.

Dr. Frank was so kind and super supportive when she gave me news that was hard to hear. She was honest, and respectful and never made me feel pressured.
