Dr. Downs and the team at Little River are great! I had several bad experiences with my previous veterinarian that mostly boiled down to me not feeling listened to. That has never been the case here and this team is why we travel 40 minutes for our visits. Every part of the team takes time to intently listen to my concerns and I feel my voice is heard and valued in the care my dog receives. Any time I have questions they're quick to answer. My dog gets her regular care here and Dr. Downs did her spay as well. I've had a couple of times where my dog needed to be seen quickly and they were able to accommodate her within what I know is a very busy schedule. I also tend to be pretty anxious when it comes to my dog and her care and they have always been great at talking me through everything to calm my nerves. From the front of the house to the doctor and back I've been very pleased with the care we get at Little River and would highly recommend them!

Dr. Downs has been our family vet for many years and many pets. She has lovingly cared for them and euthanized as needed. She has always been intelligent, caring, and supportive. Each team member has been there to support our pets, too. Thank you. 🐾❤️ Our present pups, Maggie and Max.

Refused emergency medical care for my rabbit who had been seen before because they were "at capacity". My rabbit has stasis which is an immediate issue and very likely fatal. They rufused to even schedule an appointment for the morning. They did all of this knowing there is no other exotics vet in the area and that my rabbit might die without care. Incredibly heartless.

I'm disappointed with this clinic. Dr. Judy Downs has a terrible attitude towards the clients. She gets angry at every question that I ask her. She only seems interested in making money from the clients and doesn't seem to care about animals.

Protect your pets! Avoid going there. The individuals at this place are terrible. The doctor's actions seem criminal; she should be in jail. She nearly killed my cat and refused to provide any explanation
