Over the years, my horse has suffered from a series of serious health issues. Blue Ridge has a great team of veterinary professionals with a variety of skill sets to meet all of your needs. Each time I was very pleased with the quality of care my girl received in hospital. They are calm, patient, empathetic, and work as a team to ensure you have the best outcome possible. Even though, my little horse was a pasture pet, I felt I received the same care as if she were a valuable Thoroughbred.

My horse had to have a tricky surgical procedure and I had heard glowing reviews from friends and our regular vets about BREC and Dr. Steven Trostle. Dr. Trostle called me himself when my horses surgery had to be delayed a few hours due to an ER surgery. That spoke volumes of the care and dedication BREC gives to all its clients and their owners. I was kept informed thruout my horses 4 day stay. My horse was treated like royalty. The whole team at BREC is Top Notch. BREC is a warm and welcoming facility and I highly reccomend them and will not hesitate to use them again. 😊

Blue Ridge always does a great job, regardless of the equine problem! They show up on time, understand the situation at hand, communicate their diagnosis and recommendations clearly, and do what needs to be done. They are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Hard to imagine any vet doing it any better.

Have taken very good care of my horses and been a comforting presence for my elder horse when it was time to say farewell. Very supportive and caring group, uses the latest technology.

The whole staff is amazing. From making the appointment to Dr Charland and her assistant’s farm visit, their care for our mini donkeys was outstanding. Kind and professional. I’d give more stars if possible!
