Dr. Russell is an experienced and caring, no nonsense vet. She knows her stuff and keeps me and my pets happy every visit. She is also a skilled surgeon, she removed a growth from my bulldog and made sure the scar was aligned with her coat markings! I wish this place was a bit more hidden as they can get busy, but there is often good reason and always worth the wait.

so I will start off by saying northside animal clinic appeared on my radar through a close connection who stated that they are a clinic that specializes in neutering stray cats and so I decided to give them a shot and the results are nothing but pathetic I have had many animals in my lifetime and at each time a neutering was to be done. Bloodwork was done to evaluate the overall condition of the animal, and they did nothing of the sort. No records were made no bloodwork was taken, and no introspection of the animal was done three weeks go by since the time of the neutering and my animals health severely decreased to the point of extreme weight loss no appetite disrupted bowel movements and is currently on the fence of life and death further communication with this company they offered to supply a hydration fluid to help him gain more weight yet again without any inspection of the animal or his condition so I decided to take him to my long time favorite bayview hospital in Farmington, they immediately spot his decline of health and simply by looking at him could tell he had early onset jaundice, further examination revealed he has enlarged kidneys revealed through palpation, which is simply FEELING around his belly and massive amounts of yellow fluid in his abdominal cavity, which reveals the diagnosis of FIP, which is a variant of a coronavirus, how a surgical veterinarian at Northside animal clinic was oblivious to these facts astound me to the point that if I could leave a zero star review, I absolutely would. fluid does not build up overnight kidneys do not enlarge overnight. Everything that was wrong with him. Could’ve been revealed through a 15 minute evaluation so in my personal opinion if you care for your animals, do not fall for the trope of a discounted or free neutering at the cost of your beloved animals health I regret my decision of allowing them to treat my cat and Will not be visiting this clinic again for any reason. below is his before and after

I have been going here for the better part of 14 years. The staff is always very kind. The vet is compassionate and kind. I would always recommend them for your large and small pets.

They went way above and beyond helping me with figuring out how to get my dog to the Philippines. Just awesome people all around. Wish I'd found them years ago.
