How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Zion Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My 9 month old rabbit began to have discharge from his nose. He was sneezing and had begun to wheeze when he breathed. I had noticed it but didn’t think much of it. After a while I noticed that he stopped being so interactive and had begun to eat less. I called our vet in town and unfortunately I was unable to get in. I called Zion and they immediately got me an appointment and were able to get him all fixed up. They were really nice and ready for any questions I had. He is doing great and all healthy.

We were traveling through and needed to update some vaccinations. Zion Vet Hospital got us in the next day and updated everything we would need to keep our pet current. This is a tough job with a very large and anxious Maleinois mix pup. The tech and vet were both very attentive and obviously really enjoy working with animals. They spread spray cheese on the floor and he barely notices the shots. Highly recommend and will be back should we find ourselves in the area in future travels.

I brought my 2 pomeranians in by myself, and the entire staff was so professional, helpful, and understanding that it takes an extra minute with 2 babies. They answered all of my questions and explained making sure I understood everything. 10/10 would recommend.

100% would recommend Zion Vet! The staff was so friendly, professional and patient with my rowdy Border Collie and she’s been healing wonderfully from her surgery. This is the place to go here in our small town!

Other than having to pay more for meds than I would have anywhere else, this place was great. The vet was awesome, place was clean and everyone was nice! My dog was suffering from allergies and he is doing so much better!
