How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Arcadia Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We fed our dog Timber some sheep bones and she stopped eating and started throwing up for a few days. Dr. Rustin Pickett was awesome to quickly squeeze us in for emergency surgery after reviewing the x-ray and seeing a bone clog at the bottom of the stomach. He had to cut my dog open, carefully open the stomach, retrieve the bones, inspect the entire length of the intestine, and carefully close everything back up. He was confident he got everything and also communicated the risks and concerns with the procedure. We were communicated with on how to care, feed, and tend our puppy post operation and our dog is doing great now about 4 days later. She is getting rowdy again and getting her energy back. Really great job by this clinic. We have relied on this Dr. to take care of all our pets for many years and we continually are impressed by this team and Dr.

Great experience starting at the front desk, to the techs and finally the Vet! All are caring and wonderfully concerned about giving Tucker, the best care possible.

Amazing staff! They are truly kind and personable. You and your fur baby are NOT just another ($) coming into the door, like other vet clinics in our area. They even worked in my kitty on Christmas Eve!

So impressed with the care our dog received at Arcadia Veternary Clinic. It was an emergency an our dog was treated immediately. Staff was caring and kept us informed on how to follow up on our dog’s care at home.

We brought my dog in for suspected Kennel cough as he was a doggy day care one day before we left for our family trip. It was continuing to worsen. We didn't have a vet in the area, so I looked online and found this one. We drove over hoping they could work us in. They graciously worked us in and got him the medicine he needed to recover. I'm very thankful!
