How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Mountain View Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

For one, the customer service there is absolutely terrible they look dour and bitter, try to have a fun conversation about your animal with them and they will just grunt at you and go back to the computer. Two, they lie, we did two of my animals for $130 spay and neuter (which is a ridiculous price but it's everywhere) and when we did a third one they told us over the phone it would be $130 we go and pick up the cat and the bill was $150 no explanation, no surcharge, no extra anything just an extra $20 on the already exorbitant price not to mention it was our last twenty. No food for two weeks so they can have that extra 20 they lied about... Yay

Service is terrible. I as a customer feel there is a lack of wanting to help me let alone my pet. Let them go take care of the hoved animals seems take your pets to someone who cares! Shame on them.

I called upon Dr. Blood for 2 of my dogs. We needed to find some relief for our 15 yr old arthritic Australian cattle dog. Dr. Blood understood how Texas does not do well at the vets office and was patient and had a gentle way with him. Also needed to take our new addition to the family Rocky for shoots and neutered. He and the staff are amazing.

I love this vet. So good to me and my fur babies. They are thorough and take the time to explain anything needed. They made a horrible experience easier for me. The whole team has been great!
