How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Western Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We have our three large dogs kenneled at Western Veterinary and are well cared. They are great with them. Our fur babies get doctor visits there as well and the service they receive is excellent. Update: We called in the morning about two of our dogs. The office staff advised to bring them in we were ready. They were great in checking my doggies in and getting them seen with not much waiting time. Doc Hodges is awesome!!

Han Solo our dachshund loves it here! We enjoy it here and the care our pupper gets from Dr Hodges. We have gotten our family to switch over to this vet! Hands down 10/10 recommend.

I brought my dog Gram in thinking that we may have to put him down. I actually had it in my heart. They ran test right away. So I could see the urgency and care Gram would receive with Western Veterinary Hospital. They saved my dog. You can just tell the whole team cares. I'm glad I looked Dr. Hodges up. Thank you guys! Honest and affordable!

We love Western Veterinary Hospital! Anytime I have ever needed anything for my pets, I get prompt service and I always trust Dr. Hodges’ judgement and advice. Several times he has met me after hours, and he is just as cheerful as he always is! And my pets are never afraid to go to the doctor because everyone is so nice. If I could give Dr. Hodges and his staff 10 stars, I would!

The only vet place that was able to trim my difficult pugs nails! They were really nice, professional, and understanding about my pugs anxiety, and they didn't charge me for it since I got her rabies vaccine there as well. I'll definitely be taking her there from now on.
