How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Eastern Hills Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I really appreciate that the staff here care about my pets, they remember their names in between appointments (which are sometimes a year apart)! There have been times that I’ve needed to call for a quick appointment if one my pets gets very sick and when possible they make room for us, even when I know it’s not convenient for them. I definitely appreciate the care!

Took my sick cat here for the first time today. Although they were busy, the staff was so nice and accommodating. The front desk man and woman were super welcoming, and the vet himself was great. He was easy to conversate with, very knowledgeable, and showed that he cared. The caring part was huge for me - Which is hard to find as most vets and doctors sometimes tend to brush patients off in a rush. Not the case here. Also, pretty affordable for the services. Although my cat dislikes leaving the home, he surprisingly had a great time exploring the office - despite the scared picture! :)

I have been taking both of my dogs here for the last year. But when one of mine wandered out of our yard, this clinic wouldn't even let me put up a missing poster for her, because and I quote "the doctor doesn't like for it to be cluttered in here", She wasn't a stray, She was one of their patients. I was very disappointed. I understand but I was still very disappointed and hurt. I think I will be looking for another vet clinic now. It's not just about the pets. It's just all about the money. Good luck doctor

The veterinarian was very nice and knowledgeable about what was going on with my pet. I highly recommend Eastern Hills pet Hospital and I will be bringing my dog back if anything needed to be done. Plus, the staff was very nice and also the environment was very clean so shout out them.

Came to Eastern Hills today for a second opinion for my life partner Edison ( Westie/Pekinese mix. We were treated with so much care and consideration . Everyone from the initial lady who first answered my questions on the phone to the veterinary Doctor himself have been so kind and curious about my boy and how to make him feel better. All I wanted was to find a vet who would see my dog as an individual, not as a diagnosis. They did JUST that!!!! Gave me hope and a plan to move forward. Thank you all. Me and Edie thank you So Much and will return.
