How to Save on Veterinary Costs at High Plains Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The ladies that had helped me out with my dog cooper were the best! They were in and out with him in under 30 minutes. Their services are also affordable. Another best part that is included I have 3 kids under the age of 5 I was able to stay in the vehicle with my sleeping children, while they took great care of copper! Thank you!

Not a good experience. I won't take my pet back. Two hours later and over $300.00.....update: I called the vets office to get a refill on my dogs prescription. I wanted to get his meds at Walmart because they are loads cheaper. High Plain vet wants to charge me $15.00 for a prescription that they issued my dog. This clinic isn't in it for the care of your pets. It's all about $$$$

Friendly vet techs and doctors, front desk people are mostly nice. Prices are decent but to be fair vets are expensive in general. We have been there numerous times over the past 2 months for our dog who had a couple different infections and ultimately we needed to get him fixed. We have been pleased with the doctor and vet tech interactions each time we have been and they ensured all of our questions and concerns were addressed. We are not from here, but this is the place that was recommended to us and we will return if needed in the future.

They are very affordable and act like the really care about my cats well being. I know first hand that they are usually 1/3 less expensive as Swann.
