Dr. Shaw and the entire team at Ideal Vet have been some of the most compassionate and caring people. They took care of our best friend Muffin for the final 4 years of his 14 year life. They always treated him with the gentlest hand and upmost respect. Giving us different treatment options and listening to our concerns. When it came to his end of life care and ultimately euthanasia they provided the best service in such a kind and compassionate way. I would recommend anyone to take their pets here. Thank you to the whole Ideal Vet team for your hard work and dedication to our pets.

My little fur baby aka (Maddie) got sick and I'm new to Oak Ridge & had been looking for a new vet here so I had to find one soon for her. I called one office and they couldn't take her and they suggested Ideal to me I called and they said sure bring her in. I just got to say the atmosphere was great had good vibes and felt comfortable with the whole experience. They did a great job with Maddie and was definitely not over priced. The doctor was very nice and my Maddie is a lill contrary with people but she trusted them and I was pleased. I would suggest this place to anyone.

I rescued a pit puppy that needed a LOT of help. And our vet at Ideal has been fantastic! She has helped us get our baby back up to full health! All of the rest of the staff are also amazing! They come over and love on the puppy even if they aren’t assigned to her! They are a very busy clinic, but I never feel rushed and always have my questions answered. Also, because of how busy it is, wait times are a little long, but it’s always worth it!

Today's visit was to me over the top! They are all so compassionate and Dr. Buchanan took very good care of my girl🐾❤️. This was her first visit and it will not be her last. All three of my girls will be coming to them for their concerns in the future. Thank you all 🐾❤️🐾

Saw Dr. Smith who was wonderful. Her and the staff were very tender and caring with our little lapdog. Dr. Smith took time to throughly explain the medical issue our pup was having. We had a great first visit today. And the prices for service were GREAT.
