Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

this may be one of the only vets I trust in nashville! every single person that works here is kind and personable. my 2 dogs would rather come here for boarding than any other place which says a lot! they answer all my crazy questions and are so patient with my anxious great dane. they’re also so affordable! I really cannot see my dogs go anywhere else.

I've been taking my cats to this clinic for several months and have been so impressed with the level of compassion and care that they convey. They are knowledgeable, kind and answer my questions with patience and respect. I recently had to let go of my aging dog and it was heart wrenching. They were helpful and understanding before, during and after the process. I'm so grateful that I have a clinic that knows my animals and can usually get them scheduled quickly.

Wonderful clinic! Both Dr. Sandefur and Dr. Parham are extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. The office staff are all helpful and kind. I am so very glad I found Paws and Claws to take care of my sweet Daisy and her neurotic mom!

Paws and claws, basically gave my dog a death sentence. I took her there for help, but because I’m not very wealthy. I had to put her down. They wanted me to put her down from the start. ,no empathy at all. Told me I could do the test, and not have enough for the treatments, or put her down. So she’s gone now. And I miss her. She was the most loving dog I have ever been around. Paws and claws basic didn’t want to help because she was older. So what if there cheaper then most. Oh and they had a sign in the room saying “ ask about our no interest payment plan. Guess what no payments.
