How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Mount Carmel Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

They have compassion and a true heart to help you on every stage of your fur babies life. For the most part my Gracie saw the same vet. They care. She was there when Gracie was a pup and was there when she passed. You can't find that anymore

We recently brought out female Aussie to be fixed. They kept her over night which was already a concern. After she got home we noticed a decent amount of bleeding. We got antibiotics and we are now on the second round. They butchered our dog with no repercussions. This is a sad practice!!

I recently began using this Vet hospital. I believe today was the third visit, other two times wre fine...not today. Dr. Kalcote was very rude and visibly bent out of shape over me being there. I was polite and answered her questions no less than four times apiece, still she threw an attitude not to mention the go to h*ll look she gave me when entering the exam room. Dr. Bonser is very friendly.
