I recently brought my dog to Oakwell when we had a medical scare. Nobody else in Johnson City could get him in same day, but Dr Sims very graciously brought him in, and worked him in between the schedule. Dr Sims, and the entire staff were amazing, and gave my old man the full service treatment. Luckily it wasn't as scary as I thought, but they were so amazing, and worked with me so much to get me exactly what I needed! I will absolutely be going back for all my future Vet needs!

I have used Oakwell a few times now along with other vets as I’m new to area. Oakwell is my very FAVORITE!!! All staff and Doctors are exceptional. They really care. Outstanding follow up every time. Prices are in line. They have all my business going forward. Thank you Oakwell!

We had an amazing experience with Oakwell and its staff. We’re visiting the area and our German shepherd had a medical emergency. After emergency surgery we were referred to Oakwell for follow up care. Their team was waiting for us when we got there and assured us our dog was in good hands. I couldn’t thank Sydney and her team for the great care of Gunner

I've waited to write this review until after numerous visits, including wellness checks, dental care, and several visits with my cat with kidney disease. Oakwell Animal Hospital has been a great experience for me and my two cats. The vets here take the time to talk you through everything, ensuring you don't leave with any unanswered questions. They are good at offering different options, from basic and safe treatments to more extensive exams and additional supplements or therapies that can enhance the animal's well-being. I appreciate their honesty when something isn't their specialty; they are able recommend a specialist and offer help with referrals. The staff, including the front desk, is genuinely nice and helpful. I'm giving 4 stars because, having been spoiled by an exclusively feline clinic in a big city, I have very high expectations for animal care. While I don't think this level of care is available in our area, Oakwell comes close and provides excellent service.

I used this facility for an urgent care visit for my dog, and I have never had such a welcoming and accommodating staff immediately from the start. Anytime a pregnant veterinarian gets down on the floor just to establish comfort and trust with my dog; they have my business. I was highly impressed not only with the staff, but the cleanliness and vibe of the entire facility. I have never had such a comforting experience at a vet office. I highly recommend this facility. I will using them for all future needs for my animals.
