How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Hosmer Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have a mini dachshund and she put my puppy as a beagle mix and he is a purebred so she don’t know what she’s doing or talking about and I definitely told her that he was a mini Dachshund what the hell and also she was aggressive with clipping his nails. She might be a good farm and cattle Vet , but she’s definitely not a small dog vet or a normal animal vet she definitely didn’t know what she was doing but give a shot in clipping nails and like I said she was very aggressive clipping his nails and I’ve had a bad experience with her, putting my boxers to sleep she need to have better customer service and get to know her patients name DVM, Dr. Stephanie Smith smh but all the other staff was great if she’s a professional, she should’ve known the breed of my dog. SMH if you can’t see his breed and know that he’s not a beagle mix something wrong with you if you can’t see that unbelievable

That clinic is the best! And I traveled a lot for decades with my pets! For routine exam, emergency, specific cares for my dogs and cats, never been disappointed in them. Surprise by their low prices though. I sadly must add that I had to get my Old Great Dane Lady of 9 y.o. to a better place and they were so respectful, helpful, compassionate and kind, that hard time couldn't have been better because of them. Highly recommended for their competence, humanity and honesty.

Great service. Listened to everything I had to say what was going on with my 6 yo kitty. Got her medicine and some other things to go home with her. Will refer them.
