I got my dog groomed there, he came in dirty and in need of a good brushing. When I picked him up he was like a brand new dog, soft and smelled good. Highly recommend for grooming!

Great experience boarding our two princesses while sightseeing in the area. Owner gave us a tour and was very patient in answering our many questions. You can tell that he really cares about his furry guests. No problem in accommodating our old dogs' complex medication protocol. Really appreciated the nightly report cards. We were also able to schedule an exit grooming with Ryleigh, who did a terrific job. Can't say enough good things about Almost Home.

Ryleigh is one of the best!!! She never disappoints and is very kind! One of our dogs has never been groomed and she took it like a champ! My dogs look sooo beautiful when she’s done!!

During the most difficult day of losing my beloved pet, this facility showed extraordinary compassion and kindness that we will never forget. Not only did they provide excellent care while my pet was boarding, but when the unthinkable happened, they handled everything with such grace and dignity. They covered the cost of cremation, refunded my deposit, and didn’t charge for the boarding days - going far beyond what any business would be expected to do. They even thoughtfully offered to take a final photo, showing how much they truly care about the pets in their care and their families. This level of compassion during such a heartbreaking time speaks volumes about their character and genuine love for animals. I cannot recommend them highly enough - they treat every pet like family and support pet parents through both the good times and the hardest moments. Thank you for your incredible kindness during our darkest hour.

We needed pet sitting during a trip to Mount Rushmore so that we could visit some monuments and museums. It was a long drive from Hill City there and back twice but worth it. The staff were great and were very comfortable with and seemed to enjoy our dog. Great service!
