How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Edisto Pet Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I called on June 8th to obtain a vet reference of one of their clients. The lady who answered was professional and answered the questions. She took her time to look at the file and notes to provide an answer. This shows me that they do care about dogs, where they are being placed and how the owner takes care of them. Some vets I called tend to answer quickly. Not bothering to look at the entire file and notes to provide me accurate information. Not this vet! Once again, thank you for answering my questions. God bless.

The staff was so good with my big pup. I wanted to weigh him, but he wasn't feeling it. They were so patient with him and coaxed him on to the scale Very pleased

Very nice. Pierre's first time I was concerned about the weight scale that lifted him into the air. He was not a fan and eventually we had to just guess his weight. I had an emergency need for Pierre since our first visit and although I requested an appointment both online (through their website) and voicemail. I was unable to get a return call. I think that the office is a newer one with a younger vet dr. While she was very nice, it was not the right setting for my Pierre.

They took us in with less than a 24 hr notice. The Dr. Was very kind and took her time with our dog. Her diagnosis was very accurate. Our dog was back to 100% in a couple days. Price was very reasonable.

I'm from out of town. Our kitty got sick and they saw her right away. They did no procedures that weren't necessary. If I lived here I would definitely take my animals here. Very caring and reasonably priced. Thank you Edisto Pet Clinic.
