How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Banfield Pet Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Everyone from the front desk to the techs and vets are friendly and helpful. They're knowledgeable and caring toward my dogs and myself. They make sure everything is clearly explained after every visit and follow up to make sure they're ok after sick visits. They are a very busy office so appointments really are necessary but they have sick visits for established pets

Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a veterinary office. Everyone was super nice and knowledgeable. Dr. Edmunds was awesome. She spent a lot of time with us going over her exam, her recommendations and answering all of our questions. Highly recommend.

Best place in North Myrtle Beach for the most patient staff! They take great care of all of us who love our pets. And for that, Felix says he's sorry for being bad. Y'all do great work!

The staff at the North Myrtle Banfield never failed to go above and beyond to help make appointments with a reactive dog with mobility issues a little easier. From opening doors, to ensure the path was clear of other pets, and sitting on the floor with her to ease her nerves during her exam. I will never be able to say enough good things about the staff. Keep up the great customer service and the level of care for your patients!
