What a fabulous heartwarming experience we have and continue to have. Our 8 year old Golden Retriever Leila had a completely torn ACL and had TPLO surgery on 9/16/25. Once she was cleared 8 weeks after surgery we brought her to have a consult with Dr. Tom. I honestly thought she would never be able to walk normal again. The transformation has been unbelievable. For the 1st 5 weeks she came twice a week and now comes once a week. They have concentrated not only on her leg, but her entire body assuring that all aspects are gaining the strength needed. If it wasn’t for her sweet sugar face, you would think she was a 2 year old. She has so much energy and is loving life. Leila was just a few pounds overweight. Dr. Tom recommend a simple crockpot recipe for homemade dog food. She has been eating her new food for several months now and absolutely loves it. And yes, she has lost a few pounds. The staff is amazing to say the least! Each and every one of them are the sweetest most loving and caring team. They look as much forward to seeing her as she does them. I could keep on going!! What a wonderful experience and outcome!

Our dog, Dakota injured her ACL. We thought for sure she was going to have to have surgery. We had already been through that with another dog. Our veterinarian referred us to Dr Tom to see of some physical therapy would help her. We are beyond amazed at the work he has done with her. She is walking and even running a little now. In December 2025, my dachshund Lucy started having trouble with her back. No incident that I could see. One morning she got out of her bed, seemed a bit wobbly on her feet and went outside to do her business. She was walking but not stable. A few hours later she was unable to move her legs. I took her to the vet and got medicine. Because we did not know if she could pee and poop on her own, she spent four days with the vet. About two weeks later we followed up with the vet with little improvement in walking. The vet suggested Prime Pet Rehab might help. Lucy was evaluated by Dr. Tom Walsh (also a vet) and a care plan was developed. Lucy started therapy twice a week in January. She is now down to once per week and, she is walking on her own. There's still some inconsistencies to her gait, but I expect with time that she will return to her fully functioning baseline. Dr. Walsh and his associate therapists at Prime Pet Rehab have treated me and Lucy like family. They are friendly, caring, kind and very knowledgeable. Lucy has gotten excellent care here, and I'm grateful that Prime Pet Rehab was an option for Lucy. Physical therapy just like for people, only it's for our four legged friends - gotta love it!

Prime Pet Rehabilitation Therapy has been life changing for Sophie, our 4-year-old Bearded Collie; We highly recommend them! When Sophie developed a limp, she was treated by our veterinarian then referred to Prime Pet Rehabilitation Therapy when her symptoms persisted. Dr. Tom Walsh, Veterinarian, Rehabilitation Specialist and owner of Prime Pet Rehabilitation evaluated Sophie; explaining what he saw, making sure we understood everything and showing us how to ice and massage her to relieve her discomfort. He said chances were 50/50 that she would need surgery. Sophie began a twice weekly 10 session therapy program, supplemented with exercise, ice and massage at home. Our goal was to avoid surgery completely but if surgery was needed, Sophie would have a strengthened limb for a quicker recovery. The Physical Therapists, Farrah and Le Ann were outstanding, providing videos of Sophie’s sessions along with feedback and suggestions on how to continue exercise at home between sessions. Dr Tom was continuously involved and providing feedback and advice. Sophie looked forward to her therapy sessions and everyone went out of their way to make it enjoyable. Hayley, the office manager was great too and even worked with our pet insurance provider. At the program conclusion, Dr. Tom recommended a surgical consultation and provided me a list of surgeons to choose from. The surgeon did a thorough exam including x-rays under anesthesia. He showed us evidence of a previous injury that healed. If not for the care provided by Prime Pet Rehab, Sophie would have needed surgery. Dr. Tom is great. My 14 year old springer spaniel was starting to collapse when he walked, it seems his back legs were loosing muscle mass. It was hard for me to watch knowing how active he was as a bird dog for 12 of those years. My experience with Prime Pet Rehab has been great so far. The staff truly loves what they do and I am seeing much improvement in his ability to move better. They take the time to explain what they are doing and you feel confident that they have the animals best interest as their primary goal. I am not a fan of drugging my dog and Dr. Tom is doing his best to get this done holistically. Watson loves coming here and we are continuing on a maintenance plan.
