I have used this service multiple times. They have done a great job with my dogs. One I had to say goodbye to but it wasn't unexpected. They were very good at communicating with me throughout. Keep in mind there is only one doctor there at the time, so you may have a long wait. Yes, they are expensive but so is every other vet practice from Florence to Charleston. It is somewhat of a specialty care situation and sometimes you just gotta. I have to thank them for their compassionate care of me and Goober just a few weeks ago. They treated us both with utmost respect. 💔🐾❤️ He was just too old and sick to save.

I am very thankful for all of the staff here. They showed my baby the best care all the way until the end. I see a lot of negative reviews about pricing, but I think the prices are reasonable especially compared to other big name emergency facilities. I am very thankful for Dr. Rhodes and the team that was there to guides us through the toughest decision. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again.

I unfortunately had to bring my dog here after he got attacked by 3 German shepherds. We waited a little over an hour to be put in a room while my dog bled from a wound on his stomach onto the floor. A male tech came in and asked questions, then took my dog into the back for an exam. He came back with an estimate to which I declined the medication because I have more than what they prescribed at home. We waited a couple of hours for my dog to be cleaned up and stitched up, then we took him home. Over the next couple of days, I found over 10 bite marks and lacerations that DID NOT receive treatment. He had bites around his neck, and both back legs that wasn't shaved AT ALL . My dog is family and very important to me. I am extremely disappointed to be charged for a service and then finding out the service wasn't given to my dog. I did call and express my concerns, which really didn't get me anywhere. My dog is not doing well and I fear I may have to put him down. I will never recommend or patronize this business again. Professional care is worth a little more of a drive. Edit: I called back to speak to someone as my dogs stitches did not hold the wound closed, only to be told that that is something to be expected and it was common for these kind of dog bites to need more than one repair, which ABSOLUTELY NO ONE even mentioned to us while we were there. Kind of important information to make an owner aware of, in my opinion. Instead of trying to make things right, they elected to tell me that I should find service elsewhere. I implore you, if you value your animals life and wellbeing, do not bring them here.

Thank you to all the staff for taking excellent care of our big boy, Cain. There are a lot of misleading reviews on here. The price was what I expected to pay for an emergency vet visit. They were all kind, caring and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel pressured about money over my pets care; I was given options with the expected prices so I could choose the right plan of care for us and our boy. I appreciate everything Dr. Rhodes and everyone did for our big guy. He is home resting now thanks to all of you!

Thank you Animal Emergency Hospital of the Pee Dee for your kindness. Dr. Rhodes, you were my angel last night. Boots lived a short 8 months but she was loved and will not be sick any longer. Her sister, Toonce and her Uncle Vinnie will miss her for sure. My heart is broken but you educated me on my options, never leading me in any specific direction, and listened intently as I made very difficult decisions. Thank you—— Boots’ mom
