How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Edgefield Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Great first experience! Took my 10 year old Beagle mix in for a dental consult. Clinic was very clean and everyone was super nice. Great price on the dental quote! Will be coming back for the dental appointment.

Dr. Henderson has been wonderful with our surprise gift of three kittens from an unfixed Mom! She asked if I could have them in the office within 45 minutes after I called with concerns. She clearly explained what was going on with each one, prescribed meds (with the option to get more if needed), and requested to ck on them in 7 days to be sure they were good. She is a compassionate and quite capable veterinarian! She may be young, but she's got what it takes!

Best people to help you with your extended family members. They truly are blessing kind and very helpful seen my kittens when no where else would. Even helped me find a way to get help to finance the procedure. They are not free but do their job bc they care about what they are doing not the money. And to me that says a lot other clinics wanted money up front but this vet didn't they just wanted to make sure my kittens were okay then gave me a price which was very helpful even gave me contact information for further assistance. All the staff are very kind. Definitely worth the drive if you're not from Edgefield definitely recommend

Today was my first time using this clinic. Overall, I am extremely pleased and thankful for the care they provided for my puppy. The only negative thing I can say is that one of the receptionists at the front desk was extremely rude. The older lady that sits on the right side when you first walk in did not greet or acknowledge me in any way. The receptionist on the left side was the one who took care of what I needed. Even when I went back to the clinic this afternoon to pick up my puppy the receptionist on the right side when you first walk in still failed to acknowledge me. However, see held a polite conversation with another lady in the lobby. Having worked in a private practice medical office as an MA, I know there importance of professionalism. If you can't greet everyone who walks in the door (considering the lobby is small) you might need to find another profession.
