Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

My horse had a bad eye injury and Dr Servantez came out right away. He did a thorough exam, and since he was already here he updated my annual shots and coggins. He has followed up on the progress in person thru phone text and photos. I’m relieved to know SCEA is just a phone call away.

Dr Swinehart is very thorough and professional! I am from WV and had her complete a pre purchase exam for me and she was great! Highly recommend their practice! She communicated with both my trainer and myself which meant a lot to us! We love our new girl! Thank you!

South Carolina Equine & Assoc. has been an incredible provider for my farm for over 15 years. I have primarily used Dr. Nicole Swinehart but have used all of the vets in this practice as well. I have had upwards of 100 horses at a time and she has always been there for every need. They are extremely passionate, prompt, understanding, hardworking and kind group of Vets. They go above and beyond and always put the horses needs first and foremost. Their office staff is always kind and welcoming over the phone. Very grateful to have such a wonderful Veterinarian Team in our area for our horses.

We have been with SC equine for 15 years now. All the vets have been knowledgeable and kind. Always had good experiences. Special thanks to Dr.Wylie and Dr.Kennedy who take good care of our 30 plus Paso fino horses.

Wow called to get some help with my horse but because I hadn’t used them in the last year she told me she wouldn’t come! I tried explaining that I hadn’t had horses since 2019 that this was a rescue I just got about a year now but still couldn’t get any help! If we had gave him his vaccinations we could help you! Unbelievable
