How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Care For Animals

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We have been dealing with this vet since she opened at this location. Her and her staff have always been great with our fur babies. Great care and low, fair prices. She has always treated our dogs like her own and when they have passed she shares our sorrow and pain. She is a really caring person.

Very nice place to bring your animals. Their prices are very reasonable especially compared to a vet in one of the pet stores or a animal hospital. The people there are very nice with our 2 dogs ( we have 2 german shepherds) and genuinely seem to care. We will never take our animals any where else after bringing our dogs here.

Care for Animals has a loving and caring staff. I had to euthanize my female 11 yr old cat who recently was diagnosed with cancer. Her illness came so quickly. It was a difficult decision, but Dr Rauch and staff were very empathetic. They gave privacy and time for me to say goodbye to my cat. I depend on their true and honest medical advice. I have been going to Care for Animals for over 5 yrs now. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

I dare you to call, ask a question, call back and ask the same question to a different person, see if you get the same answer. Does anyone know what they are doing here? Too nervous to have my pets seen in a place that is so scattered. Client Response: I only tried to make an appointment. I asked the receptionist about pricing for basic veterinary care and also inquired about dental work. I was placed on hold numerous times. When I started to show annoyance, she apologizes over and over that she is new and was left by herself her second week there. I gave it a few days, called back to schedule the dental, then was informed the price I was originally given, not right and was $150 more! What is going on????? Bad business.

Caring veterinarians and assistants. Doctors have excellent diagnostic skills and give realistic prognosis and plan of care. I have nothing but positive reviews. It may be a small "no frills" office but it is the care and skills as well as empathy for the animals and their "parents"that matters.
