I have used this vet for more than 15 years and 2 owners. It's a great place to take your critter. I'm a dog owner and the vets and staff obviously love animals and treat you and yours very well. They are excellent vets, I've needed them in serious situations and they did great.

This place is amazing! I have had four dogs over the years and they have all gone to Wood River Animal Hospital. I would not take them anywhere else. Dr. Schuelke and Dr. Fischer are awesome, the vet techs are awesome. They are all very compassionate about the animals that they care for and that is evident every time my pets have gone there. They go above and beyond every time no matter what the situation is. These 4 pups have all been blessed and loved there.🙏🏻❤️

Awesome initial visit to establish care for my girl Gracie. The team was terrific & made sure that all our questions were answered. The appointment was quick, but didn't feel rushed. Gracie received her 1st shot & didn't even flinch. She got so many treats & affection that I'm sure she won't mind going back. I couldn't be happier about the experience. I'm sure glad we found Wood river Animal Hospital.

I can't say enough good things about Wood River. From farm calls to multiple emergency visits (even in the same day 😂) and everything in between they have been there for us. My animals have been anything but simple, normal cases and they've been there for it all. They are kind, compassionate, and provide exceptional care and service.

Wow! The care and compassion from the staff and doctors is unparallel! After recently relocating back to Rhode Island, I unfortunately had two emergencies with my dogs within a week of each other. They fit me in and cared for my dogs even though I had never been there before. Their treatment healed my dogs in very little time. On top of that, they were very diligent in not overcharging for unnecessary items, and didn’t take advantage of the fact that it was an emergency situation. They communicated well with me and kept me abreast of everything that was going on with my dog. They even clipped a GoodRx coupon for me to help keep the cost down at the pharmacy! I am extremely grateful that I found this Animal Hospital! Thank you to the staff and doctors! You guys are top-notch in every way!
