How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Hope Veterinary Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff over at Hope Veterinary Care are super friendly and helpful. I can tell they are animal lovers because they really have a great bond with their patients. My dog, Helios, enjoys the attention and treats and I appreciate that they are fair and patient with me. If you're lucky enough to catch them when they are accepting new patients, I highly recommend them. They are prompt to answer your calls and questions or get right back to you and they provide a host of amenities that make you feel connected and part of the pack. Thanks again for treating us with love and respect!

They have been taking care of my dog for years. My dog is particular with strangers and he has been lucky to have had the same doctors consistently who he has learned to love and trust. They are thorough and caring and if they can't treat something (due to equipment) they will refer you to the best. I'll be using them forever. Thank you Dr. Chang and Dr. Mary for giving my good boy (Gauge) the VIP treatment he deserves every time. 💖 He doesn't like other dogs and they accommodate his special needs every time by giving me a muzzle and letting him in the side door.

My cousins dog went in for a SIMPLE surgery (NO prior issues) and ended up passing away from the care of this vet clinic. I cannot believe this. We are all still in shock. She would have been 2 next month. Full of life and love. Dr. Farron performed the surgery.

Dr. Chang and the office staff at Hope Veterinary Care have been wonderful. I'm a person who questions everything and am unorthodox in many of my preferences regarding pet care and Dr. Chang has been understanding, patient, and kind, despite our sometimes differing beliefs. Additionally, we had a young dog who was chronically ill and she provided frequent and top-notch care for him, as well as for our other, healthier, dog.

An absolutely terrible and heart breaking experience my family just had to endure due to the negligence and malpractice of Dr. Farren. Our almost 2 years old Bernese mountain dog went in for probably one of the most common veterinary surgeries, to get spayed and she passed away just two days later. It is so disheartening to think that our dog was not taken care of properly during her post op period and instead sent home with NO paperwork about what complications or signs that something is wrong and what to look out for. This vet should be ashamed of herself and her practice. Our pets truly become our family and we now have to grieve the loss of our beautiful dog whose life was ended way too soon due to careless veterinary care.
