How to Save on Veterinary Costs at All Pets Veterinary Wellness Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We visited Dr Gruden with Zippy our six year old holland lap grand bunny for a wellness check. He was terrific with Zippy so gentle that Zippy was very clam throughout the exam. He was very thorough and gave excellent recommendations. Zippy got his nails trimmed and a bottom trim. Zippy is very happy and hopes to return next year when he visits us in Bellefonte.

Dr. Cruden and staff are wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure our pets were healthy and happy and ensured we had the tools and information to keep them as healthy as possible. He is extremely talented and knowledgeable. He is just a wonderful person and vet. I wish we didn't have to leave them when we moved our family.

I called this office to schedule my pup to be neutered. I was quoted $410, which is already high but they could get him in relatively quickly so I scheduled the appointment. When my dad dropped off my dog this morning, he was told the price would be $460 after our voucher for $40. I called to confirm and was told the price would be $525-$600!!! That is NUTS for my 8 month old, 14 pound dog! I told them to cancel the surgery and left work immediately to pick him up. There was no explanation for why the price jumped from $410 to possibly $600. Services listed were Examination from the veterinarian, preanesthetic bloodwork, HW/Lyme test, pain mediation, a rabies vaccination (if needed) , a micro chip and a lifetime dog license. While some of these may be necessary for the procedure, several of them are not. I was never asked if he had his rabies vaccine, if I wanted him chipped or if he already had a lifetime dog license. (Which has already been ordered!) All of this should have been communicated with me, THE OWNER, before his visit. Poor attitude from the girl at the front desk who rolled her eyes at me when I told her I was there to pick up my dog, and poor communication over all.

Awesome with my Guinea Pig. Appeared to care about him and took good care of what he needed. I had to call back after the appointment because I had questions, but they were all too happy to help. Their animal care was excellent as well as their people skills.
