How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Quakertown Veterinary Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our beloved dog and I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Quakertown Veterinary Clinic. They were patient, discreet and truly helped my family in a time of grief. Dr. Newman was very caring and knew we were just devastated. Thank you for being so kind to us. With everything upside down in the world these days, it was very comforting that the staff was so compassionate with strangers when we truly needed it.

Went to Quakertown with our two-year-old cat Buddha. After x-rays and a visit with the doctor, found out he had broken his patella. Under anesthesia the doctor noticed a secondary tooth and diagnosed him with feline, teeth and knees syndrome, a very rare condition. We followed up with Dr. DeNardo (orthopedic) Who is also amazing. Because of the condition, there is a high failure rate with surgery. Everyone at Quakertown has been honest, caring, and helpful. We couldn’t ask for better care A++++

They were absolutely marvelous when we needed to rush my neighbor's older dog in. The dog couldn't stand and was vomiting. They rushed Gracie into an exam room, checked her over, and reported back to us asap. The diagnosis was Vertigo. We were very impressed with their quick and professional attention. The vet was clearly knowledgeable and she filled us in with good information in a thorough and joyful manner. You could tell she was as happy for Gracie's path for a positive outcome as we were. I highly recommend this terrific vet practice.

Unfortunately my cat needed blood transfusions. They were the only one in the valley that had blood for him. They were really nice and informative. They were also very sincere as we ended up having to put him down. My family and I are very grateful for Quakertown Veterinary Clinic.
