We brought our cat here in March. Everything went okay, but we were charged a surprising $160 for a rabies shot, antibiotics, and to get him fixed. We figured the cost amount was a little high, but went with it, considering the shots and meds and also the fact that we didn’t have much choice. Fast forward to today, about 6 months later. We have another kitten that hit the six month mark at the beginning of the month. We have been trying to get him in somewhere since the beginning of August to no avail. The earliest appointments we could find (even with Angels for Animals with vouchers) was mid-October. We also have two female kittens and were noticing signs of puberty, so we could not risk him getting them pregnant. Despite the cost, we figured he was a solely indoor cat and we have plenty of antibiotics left from a different issue, all we would need was for him to be fixed so we figured the cost would be less. When we dropped him off this morning, we were told $200. We asked for no antibiotics and no shots, and after them trying to persuade us anyway, were still charged the same $160 that we were charged six months ago for our other cat to get everything, and upon our confusion, were presented with a receipt stating ridiculous fees such as “exam fees” for our perfectly healthy cat that has never even stepped outside the house until today. I will give them props on getting us in so quickly, but I’m starting to see why there isn’t much of a wait. Nowhere else I called gave more than a $60 amount for shots, antibiotics, and to get him fixed. Just be aware of the outrageous pricing before bringing your pets here.

I rescued a cat from the streets. Took my fur baby here to get neutered and for his first visit she never mentioned about FLV Vacs and for first time cat owner I didn't know about it. Then about 5 yrs later he got real sick with Luekimia. A month later I took him in to get put to sleep because he hadn't ate for a wk. Then she informed me about the vaccine this all could of been avoided. And to top it all off She rips me off for $40 just losing my furbaby. She asked me if i wanted to bring my cat home or taken to crematory. I decided crematory. But Changed my mind and she said she will not refund me. There was a difference in price of $40 that she kept. This was my experience and a bad one!!

Took the dog in a few years ago for a cut leg. Local nerve block and done in less than 15 minutes. Same exact problem this time. She decides the dog needs to be put under anesthesia for a few stitches. This dog was energetic and had no problems before. So, with a very, very minor surgery that cost $275 for a few stitches, afterwards, the dog stopped eating and died a week later. You do the math. Cat...$70 for a blood test that couldn't be handled here. 2 months later, there is nothing but excuses as to why she does not have results. There was no communication about the delay except when my wife initiated the call. 72 years old.....time to retire if this is the quality of care and lack of judgment that I can see.

Dr. Carr is wonderful. Our cat had been sick with a common disease for a few years, and she was the first vet to help us get him back to healthy. She worked with us on payments, she genuinely cares about the animals more than anything else and that is refreshing. I would recommend her to anyone.
