Nice store it was very clean and well lit. Handicap accessible with handicap parking in front of the store. I took my cat to see the vet we got one free exam. The prices were reasonable. The staff was nice, friendly, polite and helpful. They have Guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, and fish for sale.

This is the second time I went in for an appointment and waited for 15 minutes with my son and anxious 1 year old puppy and was told they gave it to someone else because “they made multiple attempts to confirm” via text and left a voicemail. I made the appointment on Wednesday… it’s a vet appointment for vaccines, not a reservation at Ruth Chris. The young lady at the front desk was arrogant and rude as she flipped her laptop around tapping her screen and said smugly when I was leaving “you have yourself a good rest of your day. Our last visit after we waited 30 minutes and CONFIRMED that appointment, the vet, whom not to be nasty but was overweight herself, informed me my dog is in overweight and I need to address it and get her out more. Thanks for the tip. I’m a full time employed single mom with two boys and two dogs. I’ve taken my dogs here for 5 years simply because they luckily only needed routine visits. They’re just nasty. Take your pets somewhere else. Life is too short to deal with ugly people on a power trip.

We LOVE the Vetco Total Care team in Media! The entire staff is AMAZING!!! Macy (my pup) loves going there because she knows she’s going to see all her favorite people and they take great care of her! Prices are comparable to other vets in that area, and they offer a Vital Care Premier membership which gives you discounts and savings as well.

Very disappointed. We adopted a kitten and the shelter provided a certificate for a free vet visit with a list of vets that would accept it. Nowhere on this certificate did it state that it would only be accepted if you were a completely new customer to the clinic. We were actually encouraged by the shelter to go here as our other cats are set up at this location. The vet gave the price breakdown and said that the receptionist would waive the exam fee at checkout since we had the certificate, but that did not happen and we were charged full price after being told that we weren’t eligible for the waiver as our other cats have gone to the clinic before. I have warned the shelter so that they hopefully let future adopters know or remove the Vetco locations entirely off of its list of vets for the exam waiver within 30 days. I have vital care for my other two cats and would have gotten it for the kitten before the appointment if I knew. But now I’m out an extra $80 instead of it being built into the vital care plan. Not once before check out were we told that the fee would not be waived.
