How to Save on Veterinary Costs at McConnellsburg Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We wanted to thank Dr. Johnson and the staff for making one of the most difficult days of our lives manageable. When I was told due to COVID the euthanasia would happen on the porch I cringed inside. The experience turned out private and peaceful. My only regret, you never met healthy Jedi. The active agility dog. The goofy special boy. Truly a once in a lifetime dog. Amazing vet and staff who take the time to get to know you and your animals and truly care about their well-being. They've been patient and answered any questions I may have and are always checking up to see how my dogs are doing when we've come in for an issue. Their fees are reasonable and they are sure to discuss all options with you. 100% recommend!

The entire staff has been so great with our baby bunbuns! It seemed like our old vets always had a hard time accommodating because bunnies are considered exotic animals. We were in an emergency situation where our youngest one would have passed away if your office didn't see him. And, he wasn't a patient of yours at the time. Thank you for all you have done for them! So blessed to have found you and that you took on our babies!

Mcconnellsburg Vet is a really fantastic place to take your pets! They're caring, professional, and knowledgeable. When the dogs realize where we're going, they get so excited to go see "their friends" at the office. Healthcare for our fur babies can be expensive, but compared to other places I've lived, it's very reasonable and I'm never surprised by what is on my bill. I feel really lucky to have found them.
