How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Referral Center (VRC)
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Absolutely by far the best facility and staff to take care of your fuzzy friends and extended family. My dog Obie is always greeted and cared for with such love and professional expertise at VRC. The staff there has saved his life at least once as well as multiple other physical needs and emergencies. My wife and I praise God for the hearts, knowledge and performance of all the staff there. We drive 1.5-2 hours because we believe in their abilities, practices and protocols to give the very best care to our dear boy.

We brought our diabetic rescue kitty, Millie, to Dr. Wylie, internist, to help us understand and treat her multiple ailments. We are not strangers to the costs of specialty vet care, and felt the cost of the intake visit and three needle aspirates of her tissues was quite fair. We were very favorably impressed with Dr. Wylie, and her nurse, Violet. We were seen timely, and only waited a reasonably short time for the procedures to be completed. After reading Dr. Wylie's summary of Millie's issues, and treatment history ( including treatment at other previous vets) we felt we made an excellent choice for Millie's care, given her many concurrent health conditions. We hope to have a positive ongoing relationship with Dr. Wylie and Violet to enable us to have more time with Millie in the future.

The visit was great, under the circumstances. Our dog had an upset stomach when he ran test found with the problem was and was very informative and explaining everything to us. This is a great place to take your pets in the unfortunate times where your pet gets sick. this is my boy Zeus, he’s a great companion very energetic. We are so glad to be his parents.

Absolutely love this hospital, I drive a little over an hour to get here and trust my pup in the care of these wonderful vets and vet techs. I feel they truly care for your fur baby. My pup has never come out or home shaking like she’s petrified, and being this was our second visit was not scared to go back! She doesn’t care to go to our vet so this speaks high volumes to me! Would highly recommend (and do to all of my friends) this hospital if anything is wrong with your fur baby after hours!
