How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Valley View Veterinary Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was so excited to hear that Valley View Veterinary Care was opening in Centre Hall, especially because I had already been considering following Dr. Porter before she went out on her own. She is absolutely amazing. Dr. Porter is down to earth, caring, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to listen. She makes you and your pets feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. You never feel rushed, and it’s clear she truly loves what she does. The clinic itself is still new and working through the normal startup growing pains, but honestly I love supporting a new local business and startup culture like this. You can already tell they are building something special, and I think they are going to do incredibly well. The entire staff has been wonderful. Jordyn and Holly are awesome vet techs who are kind, helpful, and great with the animals, and Emily at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. It’s refreshing to find a veterinary office that combines professionalism with such a personal and caring atmosphere. Highly recommend Valley View Veterinary Care to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pets!

We very recently had to send our pup over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Porter and her whole team were beyond amazing, from sharing personal experiences to their unbeatable kindness and understanding. We were not established clients, yet we were treated like we had been for years. I don't have the words to express how grateful I am for everything they did for us. We will be returning as clients once our hearts heal and we add to our family again. I don't often leave reviews, but I can't let these wonderful ladies go without acknowledging their care! Thank you all so very much for making a heartbreaking situation a little easier.
