How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Bayshore Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Our two boys love Dr. Erika! Their both high energy but aging and she’s helped us to get through some injuries recently. We feel lucky to have found her after moving to the coast!

New to the area and found them online. Very inviting, very nice staff all around. Receptionist was wonderful. I really appreciate the level they go to for pet owners and the animals. The vet herself was very nice. Super caring and thoughtful couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend

It doesn't seem they care about helping your pets. All they want is money. At least the woman who answered phone calls gave me this impression. May be the service is good and may be the vets are nice but when your front desk staff asked for $50 deposit for an appointment that isn't booked yet, it's absurd. It's hard to find good vets who are available and attentive on the Oregon coast and they definitely take advantage of this situation!

Such a wonderful environment. The numerous times I've had to have my dogs seen have always been a pleasure. Between Dr. D'Orazio, Dr. Pope, Dr. Kragerud, Dr. Wakabayashi, and now Dr. Dorman, I couldn't ask for a better group of individuals to care for my babies. The techs are so knowledgeable and helpful, I know my goofballs are in amazing hands! Overall, Bayshore is an amazing business and hits all the points that matter most.
