This pet hospital provided amazing care for my little dog. The staff was kind and attentive, the veterinarian thorough, and they treated my dog with such compassion. Thanks to their excellent care, she’s back to her happy self. Highly recommend!

While it's true the wait times on the phone and at the offices can be long, and there is a clause in the contract that seems scary if you don't understand what it is and how it works, I have nothing but good things to say about Hannah. Thankfully I've only needed vet services twice so far, but both times the incurred costs would have been difficult if not impossible for me to pay up front, and my cats would have suffered. When my senior cat passed away, they handled her remains for me and sent me a lovely condolences card with ink prints of her paws and nose. When I was unable to safely get back to the Tigard location to pick up a newly adopted cat after being spayed, due to atrocious weather and poor road conditions, they boarded her for three days, and then ferried her right to my apartment building because I literally couldn't get out of the sheet of ice parking lot. All for zero extra charges. The offices are very clean and the staff has always been gentle and patient with my cats, even when they seem swamped during busy days. They were open and responsive even during dangerously bad weather, utilizing email and other means of contact between offices when the phones and computer system at Tigard were down, so I was still able to get updated information. Sometimes I have had to make repeat phone calls to get the answers I need, but I've never felt ignored or dismissed, and it seems clear to me that even though you can't always get an appointment immediately, even though you sometimes have to wait when you do arrive for your appointment, they are invested in the safety and comfort of the animals in their care. The negative reviews that seem based mostly on wait times are upsetting to me, because I think it's important to bear in mind that doctors--even animal doctors--have a duty to prioritize the cases that need the most help and attention, and remember that that isn't always going to be you. And when it IS you, you're going to appreciate that some things in life aren't first-come-first-served.

Hannah used to be such a great vet service for the price. I’ve been with them for 4+ years now and I have always been happy with the care I’ve gotten. Multiple stays for my puppy, amazing dental care fore my older pup, it’s been a godsend for those who can’t pay big lumps for care, so it’s definitely given me piece of mind. However, in the last year or so I have noticed a significant change in the quality of care for my pet. Unanswered calls and messages, unfilled and prescriptions never received, no follow ups, I don’t even think I’ve talked to a doctor for 2 years. We’ve had tests done and never received results from them even though there was something medically wrong with my dog, no one called me for results. Clearly there has been a change in staffing somewhere in the hierarchy that has made the quality of the care sub par and mediocre at best. This is not the premium care that I pay for monthly. If I have to hound the receptionist every day to check on my test results, only to get them but not be told of an emergent issue, that is not preventative care. I pay close to $300 for both my pets and I am not receiving that level of care. They have no stake in the game for providing you with their services since you automatically give them money each month. So they don’t care how good they are at it, as long as the checks keep rolling in. I’d love to be able to give them a better rating, but until they change the way they operate and hire more competent staff, unfortunately this is their current rating for their services. (9/22/2024). If things change I’m happy to update.

Just had to have one of my cats in for a bit of a stay because of unknown illness. The staff was absolutely lovely and did a great job. My cat however did not believe so but when we brought him home he was no longer sick and that's the best outcome anyone could help for. I've had Hannah since November 2022 and I couldn't be happier with my choice to use them for my beloved pets I think it's the best deal out there for complete care of your animals. We are lucky to have them in this area.

Over nine and a half years ago I adopted Bear from Hannah and his journey through obedience training classes as well as behavioral therapy from Dr. Tripp helped make him become the best dog I have ever known. The medical team is outstanding and Bear is always a happy camper in their care.He is adored by family, friends and neighbors. I am ever so grateful to have Bear in my life!
