How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Third Street Veterinary Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Met an old friend in Dr Rachael. She is the new owner here after the original vet retired. Het staff were friendly and competent. Dr Rachel took good care of Boomer just like she has in the past.

I brought our almost 3 year old Great Dane Zeus in for his neuter. Staff was friendly and efficient. Appreciate Dr Stan Wood’s knowledge and patience. Well worth the hour drive from Portland! Thanks again!

Prompt efficient service. Clean convenient facility. All our questions answered. Friendly staff. Good quality care for Raven. EZ to make appointments. Our third annual visit in August 2021. August 2020 back for an annual check up. Safe Covid procedures in place. DR. found an ear infection thankfully, treated it and it is improving. I appreciate the care for Raven and for safety during The Great Pandemic.
