How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Valley Veterinary Care

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The staff here are THE BEST. It smells good and clean. Not like some others I've been to. When we had to put down our cat, it was a very special experience. They are so caring. Feels like they know and CARE how hard it is. Taking excellent care of our current cat. Can't say enough good things about them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The entire staff offer friendly, caring service. Whether a routine exam and "shot" time, or the sad farewell to a beloved friend, they show sincere compassion. Heartily recommend!

Caring, compassion, competence. OK, three "C's" from a cat person: also dedicated. ...I don't know if he saved my cat's life, but it's certain, Valley Vet addressed my anxiety with immediate, excellent care. A heartfelt thanks!

Dr. Henry and all the wonderful staff at VVC are really great with all my dogs, and I have a lot of champion working dogs that are a valuable part of my daily business, not just my pets and I feel 100% confident and satisfied in the care they are given. I would highly recommend them for their expertise, care and compassion to anyone looking for small animal veterinary services.

I brought our German Shepherd in to have her eye checked out. She’s a high energy dog and being the breed she is, a bit intimidating to most. The Doc was so great with her. She immediately calmed down at his touch and him and the staff were able to handle her much better than I ever imagined. I found the price of the visit and meds also better than I imagined. So happy to have found my girls this office!
