How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Alpine Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Above and beyond care, with fair prices. Our dog suffered a broken leg and after many weeks of treatment with the staff at Alpine vet he is on the road to a full recovery. Their flexibility and accommodation of our emergency and ongoing needs were unparalleled, and although we expected to spend a fortune the pricing here was incredibly reasonable - quite a bit less than anticipated. Best of all, the doctors and vet techs were top notch and took great care of our boy. We will forever be grateful!

Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The Vet and tech do so well with my pet. My dog is shy and nervous when meeting new people, and both the tech and the Vet take extra time to make her feel comfortable and loved with lots of treats and encouragement. They did a great job spaying her, and she healed up nicely. Would highly recommend them to everyone in the community.

Thoughtful and caring, they are just the best. We had to put our kitty down and they came to our house the same day. It was such a difficult time, losing my best friend, Beans. They were so compassionate and kind the whole time, so much understanding for what we were going through. A few weeks after we lost our kitty, we got a card from the vet office which everyone signed saying how sorry they were for our loss. I can't tell you how much this means to us, it really shows how much they care. Thank you so much!

I have a lab rescue who is traumatized and needed his toenails clipped bad. I helped to get a muzzle on him and he let them clip his nails! He trusts me but wouldn't let me do them for him. Fast and stress free, Blu is now catching balls at a much faster and comfortable way! Thank you Alpine! I will bring him back to get used to his pedicures❣️
