How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Valley Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This place is the BEST! I only wish I had found them sooner. Before I over paid at other veterinary offices in the valley. They are fairly priced, and don't try to nickel and dime you for everything they do. I feel comfortable with every Dr. In this office. They are ALL very nice, thorough, highly trained and competent with all your needs. I love this office ! I can't say enough about how nice everyone is. The whole staff is just as nice and welcoming. Never have to wait a week or 2 to get in. Love the scheduling as well. There should be more offices like this one in the valley.

Caring and professional. Helped me through the difficult process of helping my elderly German Shepherd with his end-of-life. I have immense respect for these wonderful people.

A friend passed away leaving behind two very old cats who were in less than optimal health. I started calling vets right away to schedule euthanasia so these cats weren’t far behind their dad. Not until calling a 6th office did I hear good news. Such a relief. Jay helped me inside. Patty took payment. Dr. Margaret agreed that these cats should be let go. It was a peaceful process. I am so very thankful that my emergency request for an unpleasant appointment was met with grace and ease. The staff were all calm and friendly. The exam room was clean.

Very disappointed. Took my dog in for wellness check and dental. Other than taking temperature and looking at teeth, no other exam was done. Paid $61 for the "exam" and then was quoted $1400-1500 for dental. This clinic didnt leave me with a high level of confidence so took him to another vet and during that exam (which included chip scan, temp., heart, joint manipulation, eyes, ears, teeth, AND bloodwork) she found a heart murmur. This exam too cost $61 and was definitely worth it but as a 1st time customer, I received a free 1st exam coupon from Banfield.
