How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Forest Trails Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Very thankful for Forest Trails and we love Dr. Paul Welch. We are always treated so kindly by staff, and there is little to no waiting. Dr. Paul never makes me feel he's in a hurry, and answers all my questions thoroughly. His love of animals is obvious and heart warming!

We are so thankful for Forest Trails for their quick intervention last week to help Chip. Dr. Jason Carver quickly identified his heart problem and started him on medications to control congestive heart failure. Chip is a therapy dog and has become so special to us and many at Building All Children. With Forest Trails continued care, we are hopeful he will have more years of service. VERY GRATEFUL!

I'm giving this a 4 start because of the front desk woman. Every other employee was absolutely great. The secretary/tech that I dealt with was rude, very rude. She shouldn't be up front. Our Dr and tech that we had for our visit are absolutely awesome. Did great work for our animals. If it wasn't for such a great Dr, we'd go elsewhere.

I love this clinic. I had to let my 17+yo kitty go to heaven. Dr. Welch and his assistant were so empathetic and caring. They explained what they were going to do for him, and I felt that they understood and cared about my sorrow as well. I won't take my animals anywhere else for care.
