How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Carbondale Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I brought my little whippet in because she was not feeling good and the staff took their time to get to know her and to help her out. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank you

We have been taking our fur babies here for years and love it! Dr. Tim and his staff are kind and really care about their clients. Our questions and concerns are always answered thoroughly with honesty and compassion. When we lost one of our fur babies last year, they went above and beyond in making us comfortable and talked us through the process; making a very difficult day a little easier. We truly feel like they are our family. We highly recommend them to everyone and are confident they’ll take the best care of your furry loved ones.

Dr. Hallman and the girls at Carbondale are the best!! They answer all our questions and keep us informed. They also call to check on our fur babies after every procedure. Everyone there is so good at helping us make informed decisions, I’ve literally never felt pressured by them. Vet bills can be expensive regardless of where you go but at Carbondale they’re so compassionate and understanding that everyone has a different budget, they work with you as best they can. Cannot recommend them enough!!

We relied on a few different vet clinics before we found Carbondale. The others were all great, but the staff & Dr. Hallman take it up a notch. They're all super personable, they know our pets, and they provide a level of care that's above & beyond. Glad we get to bring our furry kids to Carbondale Veterinary Hospital.
