How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Midwest Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We absolutely love this establishment. Everyone is kind to us. They are compassionate. Anytime I call they take care of my son. I have a Maltese & he has been a patient of Dr. Troy’s since he was born & he’s 7 now. The whole staff is amazing. Not overpriced. Clean facility. Good hearted people who care about the community.

These people are heroes. Both doctors are incredible, the years of experience between the two inspire such confidence. ALL of the staff is wonderful, from the women at the front to the folks working in the back. They have been our vets from removing tumors, having to say goodbye to our senior dog, getting our puppies up and running, and giving our pup who was hit by a car the best care and referring us when his injuries were out of their scope. I adore this office. It’s super reasonably priced too, but more important is the level of care we get.

Just want to thank you so very much for taking such good care of Mama Cat and her son! They were spayed and neutered the same week. They are doing extremely well and never exhibited any sign of pain. Your organization must be full of angels. Thank you so very much.

My dog died Monday April 29th 2024. She had enlarged heart. The people at Midwest City Veterinary hospital, they helped me over the years since she was first diagnosed. They were surprised, saying she lived longer than expected. I can't recommend them enough. They truly understand the love you have for your little one and they're there for you when they pass. They offered to take her to be cremated and send me the ashes later. They can even help you with information of who to contact if you're grieving. They told me before she died that I can get a refund with any remaining pills and tablets of her 3 medications from Midwest Veterinarian Hospital that were still intact. Most places don't do this with medication. Keep in mind, it's possible they could change this policy in the future. But it's good to ask. I was also getting her other 2 medications from Walgreens, who couldn't take them back, but Midwest Veterinarian Hospital was able to take them as a donation for any of their patients that might need them.

The staff here is genuinely unparalleled. I have seen every Doctor and Tech in this place and they are all exceptional. The ladies in the reception area are actually angels for how patient they always are with me. I come here probably too frequently and call in even more. I have had so many different services from cat nail trims to major surgeries, devastating diseases, saying goodbye to my elderly babies, and everything in between for both cats and dogs. I have been to many other fine vets in the area over the years but this where I will always go.
