How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Santa Fe Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My fur babies have been going here since we moved to Oklahoma in 2015 and we have always had great experiences. All the veterinarians and staff have been attentive, compassionate, patient, and informative. Recently, I had to make the decision to euthanize my 18yr old Papillon. She was my grandmother's dog and I only had her two years. They were so kind during this process. A month or so later, I received a package in the mail from them that had a card with messages from all the staff, Ink stamps of her paw prints, and a plaster imprint of her paw. I never asked for this. They just did it on their own. It really shows how much they care and are invested in their patients.

We take our cat and dog to Santa Fe Vet and are always greeted with professional and knowledgeable care. The doctors and staff are so kind, and I can tell my animals feels comfortable around them. If you are looking for a long term family vet, I highly recommend their services.

I would give them a 5 star rating because I love Dr Blake Robberson. He is so kind and loving with my animals and the techs are always great. However the other vet, Paul Davis has manhandled my dog and talked to me in a condescending manner; stating I should've had my dog's tumor removed when there was a clearly visible scar where it had been removed and grew back. I always ask for Dr Robberson now.

The front desk was professional and overall it was a friendly experience but they definitely need to do a better job keeping the place CLEAN. Our dog got really sick with giardia after our visit there and we pinpointed it to their clinic as our dog has had NO other contact with other dogs or other places as she's an older dog and is indoors most times.

Awesome office and staff. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. They have a cute office cat and the doctor and staff are great with cats.
