My husband & I brought in one of our cats, which was really sick & not getting better. At the worst, we anticipated euthanasia. Dr. Rice, her technician, and receptionist, Avery, were very kind, very thorough, and truthful. She said a blood test will determine what he has. Fortunately, their price for service Is more than reasonable. So, we opted to have a blood test to see what he had and if he could be treated. The end result was he had Feline HIV. We were releived when Dr. Rice told us it is not contagious sharing bowls with our other cats. Unfortunately, he was very sick. He had been gone a week before coming home. His condition was not promising for survival. We chose euthanasia and brought his body home to bury. They even wrapped him up in a soft blanket for his burial. We are so glad we found Village Veterinary. Being on a limited income didn't put a strain on our budget.

Do not recommend. Utilized them for my elderly horse. Paid $80 for the farm call (literally 1 mile away) although I found this to be excessive I didn't complain because I thought we were getting a prescription. $52 for exam (just listened to his heart) . $43 for the 1lb tub of medicine. Was prescribed phenylbutazone and purchased a 1lb tub directly through them. When asked about a physical prescription the vet stated I could have the company of my choosing contact them and they would approve it. I found on chewy a 2lb tub for $43. The vet office now states they don't work with outside sources and refused to write a hand written prescription so that I could mail it to chewy myself. Horses are expensive in general but I have never utilized a vet that cares so much about money they won't allow you to utilize other companies to purchase medicine.

Very kind people working here. I've seen them 3 times now and each time it's been great. One of those times my dog had a stroke and the doc answered my call on their after hours emergency phone and had me examine my dog over the phone and then they found some time to see her the next day even though they were fully booked with appointments. They also pulled a cracked tooth for my dog. just overall it's been easy and comforting working with them. also, the location is beautiful and convenient.

They are a smaller vet with a big time love for your pet. They helped when my cat got extremely sick. The precious vet didn't give the personalized care that I got here. I love them! And their greeter Kevin the Cat!

I brought my little boy Chase (My cat) in after he passed away and had him cremated there. They respected all my wishes of what I wanted and they bought his ashes back to me which was most important. They let me pat him one more time before they took him. My puppy Amelia loves going there and they take such good care of her as well. They saved Amelia's both eyes from ulcers! They always answer my questions. I am very pleased that I have found them. I know Amelia will have a good long life because of them.
