How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Grandview Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I recently went to Grandview Animal Clinic for the first time and was very impressed. Dr. Reidelbach was caring, attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable. Appointments also cost a bit less than several other vets in the area. I will definitely be going back! The rest of the staff is nice as well and took great care of my cat.

I would like to thank Dr. Mike and his staff for their compassion and kindness. Our dog Khaos had many trips to the Grandview Animal Clinic over the last year for chronic food allergies, health problems, and severe anxiety issues. Dr. Mike helped us through some difficult times, and got us the resources we needed to make some very tough decisions. We cannot thank him enough for his help and support. 🌈

Dr. Mike was incredibly kind, informative, and gentle with my 8 week old Weimaraner puppy. He took his time answering any questions that I had and offered a lot of great advice. Would highly recommend his clinic!

I have been a patient with Dr. Mike for the past 5 years for my dog Sophia since she was a puppy. Dr. Mike and his team are very knowledgeable and professional and have helped through several illnesses and questions over the years. Their pricing is very fair and they always follow-up over the phone when needed. I highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone looking for good care for their pets! The only reason I am leaving is because I bought a house far away and need to establish with a closer veterinarian. Thanks Dr. Mike!

Haven't had any problems at all. Our first experience was a sad one, as a beloved cat was dying, but since then, they've taken great care of our cats. It's always easy to schedule a time to get in, the staff are friendly, and Dr. Reidelbach has been great. They helped us to take a poor barn kitten we adopted whose eyes were so infected that they were almost completely stuck shut to a happy, healthy, playful little addition. That little kitten has needed to have some teeth fixed recently, and Dr. Mike's been great about it. As our other cats age, he's been great to work with and he's helped us keep them healthy and happy, despite the illnesses that they've picked up. When one of our cats got cancer, Dr. Mike was great to help with support and to coordinate care with MedVet for his chemo, and he's kept coordination up with their oncologist for the several years after the diagnosis and treatment. Update: Our cat of 15 or so years finally passed away. He was the first cat that I have ever owned, from kitten to adulthood. Dr. Reidelback and his staff made sure that his last days were as painless and dignified as they could be. When it was time to put him to sleep, Dr. Mike made sure that it was painless. He helped us figure out what to do with the remains. He gave us a very thoughtful packet of information and poetry to help us grieve. And he and his staff sent us a hand-written card a few days later. It's never easy to put a pet to sleep, but I never felt pressured to give our cat more care, nor that we weren't doing enough.
