How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Quaker Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We brought our new rescue, Fergus in to be treated for a sore paw. Turned out to be worse than we thought. Our Fergus was treated so well at this excellent hospital. All the staff are warm, friendly, courteous, sympathetic, and professional. I've been to a lot of vet clinics and hospitals in my 55 years of caring for kitties, and I consider Quaker Animal Hospital to be among the very best! We finally found a great local vet!! Thank you all for being so kind and caring! You folks are the BEST!

This place is amazing. While vacationing in Lake George my dog had a problem with impacted anal glands. She was in severe pain. We called Quaker Animal Hospital at 8:45 am, and the got us in by 10:00 am. They expressed anal glands gave us two prescription for antibiotics and antiinflammatories all for $121. Highly recommend them...so caring and compassionate.

Dr. Kali and tech Judy are absolutely amazing with my male Husky/Akita mix! He has anxious aggression, they are very gentle and understanding, I will continue to go to this clinic based solely on the way they respect my dog! Thank you for being so great ladies!!

This place doesn’t care about their clients at all. The vet is scared of dogs who bark, and says they’re going to prescribe medicine for my animal, and then doesn’t. The lack of care for animals is horrendous. Don’t recommend at all. Find somewhere else to go.
