How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Happy Tails Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

DONT RECOMMEND. CANT GO IN THE BUILDING TO SEE HOW THEY HANDLE YOUR PET. THEN THEY SAY COME BACK INSTEAD OF JUST TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG THEN AND THERE. DONT HAVE THE MONEY TO KEEP COMING AND GOING.

I absolutely love my small animal Veterinarian, Dr. Jennifer Gallagher, as well as the male Veterinarian I've had there with a pet feline emergency, too. They are sincerely caring, incredibly knowledgeable, but not afraid to research something entirely before answering my questions fully (when our 16yo toy poodle had blood work return abnormally, but not in a totally common way.) They care for my pets as if it was their own! They are skilled surgeons, but try all possible treatments before even mentioning this resource. They actually know & remember my pets! I refer everybody locally to this office. That's the sole drawback -- they're in high demand & therefore, very busy. That being said, I've never once had an emergency or frightening pet problem that they've not been available in some way to help me. I feel Blessed to have this level of care for my beloved small pets!

Give you one price and charge you another. When you ask what the cost of a booster is make sure you tell people about the bio hazard fee and another office visit charge!!!!😡 35.00 became 88.00. Big difference!!!!
