Today we had a catmergency. Our regular vet couldn't see him but we were told that a new veterinary urgent care had opened up closer to us than the others that had been recommended. We called ahead and got in the car. It couldn't have been a smoother visit. The staff was professional, skilled and caring. Reception was fast and lovely to deal with. The staff was confident and comfortable handling a scared animal who wasn't thrilled to be there after a fall, an injury and an unexpected drive. Choices and pricing for imaging, treatment and prescriptions were made completely clear and transparent. We saw Dr Green who was able to quickly put our freaked out cat at ease and he melted into a puddle on her lap after his exam. She clearly explained all the details for follow up care with his regular vet and directions for us to monitor and give him his prescriptions in the meantime. They even had his favorite treats for bribery.

They were very sweet to Roxie. Dr.Opalecky and staff were great during our time in need and provided exceptional care. Handled our issue in a timely manner at the urgent care office in Newburgh.
